To ensure the operability and safety of the Caracas-Cúa line, Miranda state, during the rainy season, preventive “pick and prune” maintenance activities will resume on the catenary system of the Ezequiel Zamora I Railroad during the rainy season on Sunday.
According to information from the State Railroad Institute (IFE), the work will be carried out from 4:00am to 12:00pm, and will consist of pruning vegetation close to the overhead electrical cables, with the objective of avoiding possible damages and ensuring a continuous and efficient service.
These tasks have been essential to keep the railway route that connects Caracas with the Valles del Tuy in optimal condition, the Institute said.
