This Sunday will be the Red Carnation March for the 40th anniversary of the planting of Ali Primera

Next Sunday, February 16, in the Alí Primera sector of the municipality of Los Taques, in Judibana, Falcón state, the traditional Red Carnation March will begin, starting at 9:00am, with the participation of the inhabitants of Paraguaná who will commemorate the 40th anniversary of the planting of the Cantor del Pueblo, Ali Primera.

The information was provided by the director of the Alí Primera House Museum, Mireya Padilla, who, referring to the scheduled activities, specified that this Friday, February 14, it is estimated that more than 480 students from the different school circuits of the three municipalities of the peninsula will participate in an emotional cantata.

For Saturday 15th, sports activities are planned at 4:00pm, as well as the screening of the film “First Ali”, giving way to the vigil that will start at 8:00pm.

“We are very excited but at the same time scared because we have seen the receptivity of the people and the confirmations of attendance since the month of November,” he said.

Padilla pointed out that the family, supporters, cultivators and regional government are preparing to carry out an extensive agenda that began this Thursday, February 13 with recitals, talks and gatherings on “El Panita Ali”.

He indicated that the March of the Red Carnations, which will start from the Museum House and will move along Fluor Street, the main avenue of Old Airport, Comercio de Caja de Agua Street until reaching the municipal cemetery of Santa Elena.

He commented as an anecdote that during the first years of the march, his nephew Raulito came out with just 50 people, however, today it is a march that brings together thousands of people who have the same revolutionary thinking.
