From this Tuesday 20th to Saturday 24th of March, the first National Agricultural Exhibition Miranda 2024 will be held in the Bolivar Park, in La Carlota, Sucre municipality.
The announcement was made by the governor of the state of Miranda, Héctor Rodríguez, during a press conference, where he stressed that this activity will show the items that are produced in the entity, according to a press release published on the website of this government body.
“We are going to show buffalo breeding, meat, wine production, goat, sheep and cow production. We are going to show progress. Last year we started the vaccination plan for breeding and an accompanying plan with 350 technicians for the production of meat and food,” he said.
The event will include the National Association of Dairy Goat Breeders (ASOCABRA) and the National Association of Beef Cattle Producers (ASOCARNE), among others.
The Expoferia seeks to become a mechanism to promote and contribute to the increase of animal protein production, for national and international consumption.
This exhibition will also observe the role played by sectors dedicated to breeding, genetic development, artisanal and industrial processing, up to the distribution of products derived from livestock.
Rodríguez also mentioned the support provided to the agricultural sector to boost production.
