Tigres de Aragua clings to the top of the standings of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), after defeating Cardenales de Lara with a score of 9 runs by 4 at the José Pérez Colmenares Stadium.
At the University Stadium in Caracas, Águilas del Zulia dominated 15 races by 7 against Tiburones de La Guaira. The raptors are in second place in the table, tied with Leones del Caracas one and a half games away from the leader. While those from the coast are in fifth position two games away.
Cardenales de Lara are in sixth position two and a half games behind the Aragüeño team.
For their part, Caribes de Anzoátegui dominated Bravos de Margarita 3-2, at the Alfonso 'Chico' Carrasquel Stadium in Puerto La Cruz. The Tribe is in fourth two games behind the first and the Insulars in the penultimate three of the points.
The table is closed by Navegantes del Magallanes with a record of 1-4 and three and a half games behind Tigres.
