Tigres de Aragua get off to a good start to the 2025-26 season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) after beating the current champions Cardenales de Lara 8-3 at the Antonio Herrera Gutierrez stadium.

Oswaldo Guillén and his Tigres de Aragua supported each other. A good defense that overshadowed the opportunities of the red birds with up to three double plays.

José “Cafecito” Martínez won the Most Valuable Player award of the match, recording two hits in three rounds, one RBI and two scored.
