Torrential rains cause heavy flooding in southeastern Spain

The Spanish province of Malaga has turned out to be one of the most affected by the heavy rains that have affected the Iberian country in recent days, the Russia Today website reported.

The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has raised the warning to red in certain areas of the province due to rainfall of up to 120 liters per square meter in twelve hours.

Throughout this Saturday, the 112 emergency service has responded to more than fifty warnings from Malaga due to the consequences of heavy rains.

Most of them were related to falls of elements on public roads, as well as flooding in garages and houses and traffic accidents.
