Trade between Venezuela and Colombia in the first half of 2024 is around 500 million dollars

Binational trade between Venezuela and Colombia experienced a growth of 28.4% during the first half of 2024, reaching 497.8 million dollars, according to figures published by the Venezuelan Chamber of Colombian Economic Integration (CAVECOL).
The publication notes an increase in Colombian imports to Venezuela of 39.5%, while the Bolivarian nation exported 70.3 million dollars in that period.
It specifies that 40.9% of Venezuelan exports were made by land, mainly through customs in the state of Táchira. The main exported products include: iron and steel foundry, fertilizers, organic chemicals, fuels and oils, aluminum and its manufactures.
Of the imports made from Colombia, 76% were made by land. The Paraguachón border was the main customs office with 211 million registered, while 114 million entered through the customs of Táchira.
