Trains to the Valles del Tuy received maintenance

The technical staff of the State Railway Institute (IFE) began preventive maintenance on the system's trains to ensure the efficiency and safety of their services on the Ezequiel Zamora I section, Caracas-Cúa line, Miranda state.

According to the newspaper Úlmas Noticias, the work takes place this Monday afternoon, in rolling stock workshops on the Caracas-Tuy section.

Among the activities carried out by the technicians are blowing the ducts of the train's electrical tension supply system, the manufacture of bearing extractors for the main motors of compressors in the cooling system, specialized tools for repairing engines, maintaining bogie brake discs and thoroughly cleaning train ventilation grilles.

Gertrudis Infante, president of the IFE, mentioned that these actions are essential to extend the useful life of equipment and offer quality service to users.
