Trujillo: 13 people were arrested in connection with plans to generate violence in the streets

Members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) managed to arrest 13 people in Trujillo for their alleged connection to plans to generate violence in the streets of that entity, the newspaper Última Noticias reported.

According to the publication, in a first proceeding, Robert Emilio Rea Fernández was arrested, captured in the vicinity of the Pampanito mayor's office, who had a .38 caliber revolver, two cartridges, four pyrotechnic devices (mortars), a liter of gasoline and telephone equipment seized.

Meanwhile, in the La Floresta housing estate, the same municipality, the military arrested five people who were handed over to the Public Prosecutor's Office to be charged with illegal possession of firearms and hate speech, after finding a 5.5-caliber Flower-type firearm, two passports, two laptops, a tablet, three plastic containers containing gasoline and five telephone devices.

On Avenida Bolívar de Boconó (Trujillo), seven people were arrested, after seizing six plastic containers of different capacities where a total of seven liters of gasoline were stored; three Molotov cocktails; four miguelitos and green paint which was being used to make graffiti on the walls near a police unit.
