The heavy rainfall recorded since the early morning of this Saturday, April 19, caused flooding in roads, homes and educational institutions, increased flow in rivers and streams, as well as landslides, especially in the municipalities of Boconó and Valera, where 18 houses were affected, as well as communication routes throughout the state.
This was confirmed by the Governor of Trujillo, Gerardo Márquez, who reported that since the early hours of the morning security and prevention agencies, such as Civil Protection and Firefighters, have been deployed to respond to emergencies caused by rains.
He assured that municipal officials and agencies are deployed responding to the calls of the different communities, so I recommend keeping safe and away from ravines and risk areas.
He also said that it will generate a work schedule to handle roads hampered by falling trees, landslides and sediments with machinery.
