According to a report by the activist group, FWD.us; every three Latinos in the United States (USA) would be affected by a mass deportation plan, which was conceived by the Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, as part of his electoral campaign.

Trump's radical proposal would lead to a humanitarian crisis in Latino communities, in addition to negatively affecting the North American economy due to the prevalence of Latino labor in its production chains.

Nearly 28 million people in the United States would be negatively impacted if the former president executed his initiative if he came to power. This report was presented to Congress by a coalition of organizations that defend immigrants, as well as by the Democratic senator from California, Alex Padilla.

“Many lives could be destroyed if Donald Trump is elected and he keeps the promises he has made,” warned Padilla, who chairs the Subcommittee on Immigration, Citizenship and Border Security in the U.S. parliament. In addition, he highlighted the importance of voters visualizing the devastation to entire communities that would result from the deportation of the approximately 13 million undocumented immigrants.
