The president of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), Caryslia Rodríguez, reiterated that former candidate Edmundo González Urrutia did not attend any of the scheduled appointments.

“Consequently, he flouted the mandate, the frank disrespect for the judicial authority, demonstrating his reluctance to adhere to the constitutional order, a behavior that entails the sanctions provided for in the current legal system,” Rodríguez said, while stressing that González Urrutia did not record the minutes of scrutiny and lists of witnesses as required evidence.

Just as the members of the Democratic Unitary Platform and candidates of Edmundo González did not register the electoral material required by the Supreme Court. “They maintained that they did not participate in the process of minutes of scrutiny of their political parties,” he emphasized.

Also, “it should be noted that Alianza Pácil and Centered on the People did not provide the required electoral material, just as neither did the candidates A. Ecarri and Enrique Márquez,” he added.
