The Turkish ambassador in Caracas, Aydan Karamanoğlud, highlighted the support he has received from the International Center for Productive Investment (CIIP) and its president Alex Saab, for the holding of the Turkish Export Products Exhibition 2024, which will take place between September 26 and 28, in Miranda state.
According to the diplomatic representative, not only trade is important for the Eurasian country, but also to increase Turkish investment in Venezuela. On this point, he stated that one of the main expectations of the Fair is to conclude negotiations with Venezuelan companies.
He then reported that more than 40 Turkish companies will participate for this second edition of the Türkiye 2024 Exhibition, many of which have already contacted the CIIP and its president Alex Saab.
“We are working in cooperation with all Venezuelan organizations and the main one in this area is the CIIP. That is the Venezuelan body that governs all investment. For this reason, we have already been in contact several times with Alex Saab and with the CIIP. Many Turkish companies have come here to talk to the CIIP and at this Expoferia contacts will also be made with them, and we have also asked for help to disseminate this information to Venezuelan companies,” he said.
He also expressed solidarity and total rejection of any foreign intervention and unilateral coercive measures against Venezuela, which he described as unfair and an obstacle to free trade between nations.
