Venezuela currently has a significant number of investments by Turkish private entrepreneurs, as reported by the president of the Association of Independent Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Türkiye (Musiad Venezuela), Hayri Kucukyavuz.

“The growth between Venezuela and Türkiye in the commercial sphere was a success and our goal in the next 3 years is to reach 3 billion dollars,” said Kucukyavuz, noting that trade between Venezuela and Türkiye closed in 2024 at 800 million dollars.

He indicated that there are investments by Turkish private entrepreneurs in an oil plant, located in the state of La Guaira, according to national media reports.

“That investment at the lowest came out at 1,000,000 dollars. There is a group of businessmen called Yildirim Holding, the investment will be more than 3 billion dollars for Venezuela. There are other entrepreneurs who are receiving between 100 and 200 million dollars (in investment) through the plastic sector,” he said.

Kucukyavuz said that investments in Venezuelan soil are long-term and pointed out that the country's tourism and agricultural sectors must be activated.
