Turkish state oil company evaluates cooperation opportunities with PDVSA in the area of oil and gas

The executive vice president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting this Monday with representatives of the Turkish company Türkiye Petrolleri Anonim Ortakligi to evaluate bilateral cooperation in the areas of oil and gas.


Through a post on Telegram, the Ministry of Petroleum indicated that the meeting took place in the context of the agreements signed between the two nations, as well as to “strengthen the energy industry” in Venezuela.


He added that the “strategic alliance” between Venezuela and Turkey is complemented by his nation's potential, taking into account that it has “the largest proven hydrocarbon reserves in the world.”
