Two hospitals in Cojedes already have fiber optic services offered by CANTV

In San Carlos and Tinaquillo, the Dr. Egor Nucete and Joaquina de Rotondaro hospitals incorporated high-speed Internet, IP Telephony and Aba TV GO services to support their administrative and operational activities.

The activation, according to a press release, was carried out as part of the Comprehensive Recovery Plan of the Dr. José Gregorio Hernández Hospital and made it possible to bring CANTV's GPON technology to different areas of both health centers.

In San Carlos, the technical staff laid out more than 5 kilometers of optical fiber and installed the necessary network elements to ensure connectivity. While in Tinaquillo, more than 4,000 meters of network were deployed to run the installations.

Glenis Pérez, director of the Egor Nucete General Hospital, highlighted Aba Ultra's contribution to administrative tasks: “Aba Ultra has been a great support for our hospital, because it is a fast service that allows us to quickly send the statistical report of what we generate in 24 hours to the Ministry of People's Power for Health,” he said.

For his part, Ángel León, director of the Joaquina de Rotondaro hospital, explained that the service was enabled at 10 strategic points of the health center: “We have the Aba Ultra service at 10 key points in the main health center in Tinaquillo, for the quick and timely delivery of information requested by the regional health corporation. In addition, IP Telephony allows us to communicate quickly with different units.”
