Oil product reserves in the port of Fujairah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), registered their lowest level in almost a decade. Inventories of refined products fell to 7 million barrels, according to international media reports in the midst of the regional energy crisis.

According to data from the specialized firm Kpler, since the end of February 2026, more than 500 million barrels of crude oil and condensate have been withdrawn from the world market. This figure represents the largest interruption of energy supply recorded in modern history.

Despite Iran's announcement about the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, specialists predict that the recovery of oil flow will be slow. During the month of April 2026 alone, global onshore oil reserves decreased by approximately 45 million barrels.

The situation in Fujairah, a strategic point for storage and export, reflects the current instability in the hydrocarbon market. The international community remains alert to response times to restore production and trade flow in the region.
