The National Experimental University of the Arts (UNEARTE), Mérida headquarters, alerted citizens to false positives through social networks against Professor José Luis Dávila, by young people from the extremist opposition who have openly and publicly issued offensive messages and threats against him.

It became known that on July 29, a young owner of a digital media company, a graduate of the Audiovisual Media School of the University of Los Andes (ULA), wrote offensive, disqualifying and threatening messages against Dávila.

In addition, he used biased and manipulated audiovisual material to expose the teacher, through his personal photo, place of residence and place of work, through an account on the Instagram social network with high traffic, as well as other backup accounts on the same platform.

In this regard, the university also rejected, under any circumstances, hate messages and actions that could jeopardize the physical and mental safety of teachers, students and UNEARTE workers.
