The territorial deployment of the National University of the Communes (UNACOM) arrived this Tuesday in the state of La Guaira in order to continue promoting the communal formation instructed by the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and the rector of the house of studies, Jorge Arreaza.
This was reported by the vice-rector for Training and Community Research of UNACOM, Eulalia Tabares, in the company of the regional director of the institution, Gloria Villarroel; the director of Community Councils of the Ministry for the Communes, Juan Lemus; as well as teachers, spokespersons and community members of the entity.
During the day, Tabares pointed out that all members of the Communes and Community Circuits can be part of the university's knowledge units, without exclusion of any kind. In addition, he explained that UNACOM has the formation of a Popular Government School, for the training of all levels of government.
He explained that the institution has, in a first learning cycle that begins on September 1, the following national training programs (PNF): Social Communication, Sports, Tourism, Veterinary, Administration, Agrifood, Computer Science, Mechanics, among others, which will not only be studied on the academic campus, but in the knowledge units, which are the classrooms deployed in the Community Circuits.
He noted that these PNFs will serve to transform the community and were defined according to the needs of the Communes and the Knowledge Maps that have been designed in each one.
On the other hand, Gloria Villarroel emphasized that for the state of La Guaira, the presence of UNACOM in the region is a priority “and we are all willing to work to guarantee the communal training that we so much need.”
Juan Lemus also stressed that the territorial deployment of UNACOM in La Guaira is important for the creation of the Communal State. “There are a lot of people who are excited about strengthening Community Government; and we are planting the roots for this new model of society, which is why the university is important,” he said.
He ratified that UNACOM will promote appropriate training so that the Communes receive the necessary education to consolidate the Popular Government.
The community teachers of La Guaira, who have been accredited and joined UNACOM, emphasized that community classrooms and training in community management are essential for the state. For this reason, they called on all communities to promote political will and to fulfill the commitment to strengthen the Commune as a model of Government in Venezuela.
