University villages in Aragua participate in Sucre Mission meetings

With the participation of winners from the 42 villages of the state of Aragua, the assembly process is taking place this weekend for the election of the entity's delegates for the National Constituent Workers' Congress.

“We are deployed in the 42 villages of the entity to hold the meetings where we debate and propose the thematic axes that we are going to incorporate into the different working groups of the Constituent Congress,” said Gladys Torrealba, general coordinator of the Sucre Mission in Aragua.

He explained that “three delegates are elected, one successful student, one worker (worker) and a teacher or coordinator, that is, three per village that will then be measured at the municipal level, for December 6 to be taken to the state level and have the three representatives of Aragua who will be on the day at the National Congress of the Workers' Constituent Assembly to be held on December 14, 15 and 16 in Caracas,” he pointed out.

He emphasized that the Sucre Mission, as the vanguard, and the workers, teachers and students present their ideas for the constituent process. “The entire university sector allows us with strength and accelerated steps to accompany President Nicolás Maduro in the constituent moment.”

It is worth noting that the National Constituent Congress is an initiative promoted by the National Government and the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) to strengthen and refound the labor movement and specific sectors of the country. The main phase of the congress is scheduled to take place on December 14, 15 and 16, 2025
