Venezuela and Algeria deepen strategic route for energy cooperation

Through her Telegram channel, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that she held an important meeting with the Minister of Energy and Mining of Algeria, Mohamed Arkab, to deepen the strategic route of energy cooperation between the two countries.

He also highlighted that at the meeting they also had the opportunity to review common issues as members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and about the joint work being carried out by the Forum of Gas Exporting Countries (FPEG).

“Demonstrating that bilateral relations between Venezuela and Algeria are based on comprehensive cooperation in both the oil and gas sector,” Rodríguez said, stressing that our country has important cooperation agreements with the African nation following the guidelines and the Bolivarian peace diplomacy promoted by President Nicolás Maduro.
