Venezuela and Belarus work together in the military field

In the framework of the International Military Exhibition (MILEX) 2025, held from May 21 to 24, a Venezuelan delegation, represented by G/D Edwuar Vergel Tortolero, actively participated in strategic meetings with senior representatives of the defense field and the Belarusian military industry, consolidating the ties of cooperation between the two nations.

In addition to meetings with the Head of the Department of International Military Cooperation and Assistant to the Minister of Defense of Belarus, G/D Valery Revenko; Vergel held meetings with the vice-president of the State Committee for Military Industry of Belarus, Oleg Mishchenko, as well as with the General Director of the company BSVT.

According to a press release from the Foreign Ministry, these dialogues allowed us to explore opportunities for collaboration in the development of defense technologies and the exchange of strategic knowledge.

During the exhibition, the Venezuelan ambassador to Belarus, Franklin Ramírez Araque, was also present, who accompanied the discussions on strengthening military and technological cooperation between the two nations.

Venezuelan participation in MILEX 2025 underlines the will of Venezuela and Belarus to consolidate effective cooperation in the field of defense and security, promoting stability and mutual understanding.
