In an important step towards strengthening cooperation ties, the ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Plurinational State of Bolivia, César Trómpil, held a virtual meeting with Mario Rodolfo Borda Zambrana, the new general manager of the Bolivian Aviation Airline (BOA).The meeting took place in a context of mutual interest in strengthening bilateral relations in the field of air transport.
The main objective of this meeting was to update the issues of cooperation in the aeronautical sector, specifically with regard to the BoA air routes that connect Bolivia with Venezuela.
During the dialogue, both parties expressed their willingness to deepen collaboration in this sector, a key area for connectivity between the two countries.
The recent appointment of Mario Borda as manager of Boliviana de Aviación was one of the key reasons for this meeting. Borda took this position to replace Ronald Casso, who played a crucial role in the management of the Bolivian airline. The Minister of Public Works, Edgar Montaño, was the one who officially took office of the new manager, highlighting his vast experience in the field of aviation.
Borda, who has a remarkable career in the aeronautical industry, was presented as a figure with extensive knowledge and skills to lead the state airline in a new phase of growth.
In this context, Trómpil stressed the importance of maintaining constant communication between Venezuelan and Bolivian authorities to ensure that flights between the two countries remain safe, efficient and operational. In addition, he noted that the updating of air routes and technical cooperation in the area of aviation are essential to promote cultural, commercial and tourist exchange between the two nations.
The air connection between Venezuela and Bolivia has been a priority issue in bilateral relations, especially in recent years, with the objective of improving connectivity and facilitating the mobility of citizens of both countries.
