Venezuela and Cuba review health cooperation agenda

On behalf of the president, Nicolás Maduro, the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, reaffirmed the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to health as a fundamental right of the people.

This was announced by the vice-president through her Telegram channel, where she reported on a meeting with the Prime Minister of Health of Cuba, Dr. José Ángel Portal Miranda.

Rodríguez explained that during the meeting, the cooperation agenda in the field of health was reviewed within the framework of the comprehensive Cuba-Venezuela agreement, while reiterating his willingness to continue expanding strategic alliances with sister countries.

During the meeting, the authorities reviewed the “agenda of cooperation in the field of health”.
