With the objective of strengthening parliamentary friendly relations, the second vice-president of the National Assembly (AN) of Venezuela, América Pérez, held a meeting with the vice-president of the Senate of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Samy Badibanga, in the spaces of the Federal Legislative Palace, in Caracas.

On October 31, the Parliamentary Friendship Group between Venezuela and the Democratic Republic of the Congo was established, an activity in which Pérez highlighted the importance of the connection between Latin America and Africa in the fight against global imperialism.

This group aims to strengthen ties between the two countries through communication, dialogue and the exchange of legislative information.

On the other hand, Deputy Pérez received the president of the Saharawi National Council, Hamma Salama, and an accompanying delegation. Last March, the Parliamentary Friendship Group between Venezuela and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic was installed in the AN.
