Venezuela and India confirm interest in deepening joint cooperation agenda

The Deputy Minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Tatiana Pugh Moreno, held a meeting this Thursday with the ambassador of the Republic of India, P.K. Ashok Babu.
The representative of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry and the Indian diplomat addressed issues of interest at the international level and delved into the intense bilateral agenda that both governments have maintained during this first quarter of 2025, highlighting the recent visit to New Delhi made by the Vice President of the Republic and Minister of the People's Power of Hydrocarbons, Delcy Rodríguez, accompanied by the minister of the People's Power for Foreign Trade, Coromoto Godoy.
In the cultural field, the Ambassador reported that they are preparing to start this March 7 the Indian Film Festival at the National Cinematheque, which will allow the Venezuelan population to immerse themselves in the diversity of the cinema of this Asian nation.
Finally, the authorities pledged to continue working to deepen joint cooperation, in sectors such as health, trade and transportation.
