Venezuela and India strengthen cooperation in science and technology

The sector vice-president of Science, Technology and Health, Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez, held a meeting with the Indian ambassador, Ashok Babu, with the objective of advancing the work agenda in the area of health and digital transformation.
“We also talked about the possibility of jointly developing projects that benefit the electronic banking and commercial system, promoted in our nation by the hand of the public and private sectors,” Jiménez announced through a post on his Telegram channel.
As recalled by the Ministry of Science and Technology through a press release, relations between Caracas and New Delhi, which are more than 60 years old, have been fundamental to strengthening and strengthening ties of scientific-technological cooperation.
The Minister for Science and Technology also noted that “Venezuela is working on the implementation of digital solutions applied to digital transformation, supported by the National Plan for Artificial Intelligence.”
This meeting marks the beginning of a series of meetings following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the MINCYT of Venezuela and the corresponding bodies in India, following the recent visit of the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez.
