Venezuela and Qatar reaffirm diplomacy in the face of threats that jeopardize regional peace

The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, held a meeting this Friday with the ambassador of the State of Qatar in Venezuela, Rashid Mohsen Fetais, to strengthen ties of brotherhood between the two countries.

Through his Telegram channel, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister explained that the meeting aimed to “reaffirm cooperation and strengthen diplomacy between our nations, especially in the context of current regional geopolitics that jeopardizes peace in the region.”

Recently, the State of Qatar expressed its willingness to serve as a mediator in the midst of threats from the United States (US) against Venezuela, with the deployment of military vessels and a nuclear submarine in the Caribbean, under the false pretext of the “fight against drugs”.
