Venezuela and South Africa make headway in the First Binational Joint Commission

Venezuela and South Africa drew up this Monday the road map for the celebration of the First Binational Joint Commission.
The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, in Pretoria, where the first meeting of the Political Consultation Mechanism between this country and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela took place.
The meeting was chaired by Yuri Pimentel, Deputy Minister for Africa of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and by Alvin Botes, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa.
The Venezuelan Foreign Ministry noted that, in addition to sharing analysis of the respective national situations and international geopolitics, the meeting reviewed the bilateral agenda.
They also reviewed the bilateral agenda and the agreements under negotiation in key sectors such as energy, culture, education, commerce, agriculture, fishing, housing and sports.
