Venezuela and Spain discuss opportunities for cooperation during their foreign ministers' dialogue

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Félix Plasencia González, held a cordial and productive telephone call this Sunday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain, José Manuel Albares, in which they discussed bilateral issues and opportunities for cooperation.
On his social networks, Foreign Minister Plasencia reported that “Venezuela is grateful for the spirit of solidarity and willingness of the Government of Spain to accompany our country in this phase of reconstruction after the earthquakes of June 24.”
The European country was one of the first to arrive in the nation after the double earthquake, with a brigade made up of 67 rescuers and 8 canine specimens, awarded the “Heroes of Venezuela” medal at the end of its work; in addition, it installed a field hospital in the “Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda” Park and donated tons of humanitarian aid for the care of victims in the temporary camps.
