Venezuela and the EU review cooperation opportunities and shared challenges

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Félix Plasencia, held a meeting this Thursday with the Ambassadors and Heads of Mission of the member countries of the European Union (EU) accredited to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister for Europe and North America, Oliver Blanco, and the Director General, Nelson Totesaut, in addition to the Acting Head of the European Delegation in Caracas, at the invitation of the Italian Ambassador to Venezuela, Giovanni Umberto De Vito, Plasencia reported on his social networks.
“It was a favorable opportunity to exchange, in a close and constructive way, on issues of common interest, opportunities for cooperation and the challenges we share,” the Venezuelan Foreign Minister explained in his message.
In this regard, he stressed that “Venezuela will continue to bet on understanding, mutual respect and diplomacy as fundamental tools for building bridges and strengthening dialogue.”
