Venezuela and the Islamic Republic of Iran strengthen cooperation in the communication area

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Monday, November 4, at night, received the Minister of Communications and Information Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Sattar Hashemi, who arrived in Venezuela to strengthen bilateral cooperation in this sector.

The information was provided by the Presidential Press, on his account of the social network Threads, in which the head of state said he received at the Miraflores Palace a delegation of authorities from the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by Sayed Sattar Hashem i.

It specifies that this delegation is composed of Hojjatolah Soltani, Iranian ambassador to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela; Mesam Abedi, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology; and Ali Saneian, Deputy Minister of International Affairs for Communications and Information Technology.

The Iranian minister has held important meetings, including the meeting with the sectoral vice-president of Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez; as well as with the one for Science, Technology, Education and Health, Gabriela Jiménez; with the one for Public Works and Services, Jorge Márquez and with the president of CANTV Jesus Aldana.

Caracas and Tehran make important commitments to maintain communication coupled with new technologies to tell the truth about what is happening in both countries.

This meeting comes after the recent BRICS summit held in the city of Kazan, Russia, where presidents Nicolás Maduro and Masoud Pezeshkian discussed the bilateral agenda.
