Venezuela and the United Arab Emirates evaluated the potential of their foreign policy

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, held a telephone meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to explore the potential of bilateral relations between the two nations.

During the conversation, the diplomats emphasized relations in the energy, agriculture, tourism and financial sectors. “We agreed that there is an enormous field of cooperation and we are committed to working together to design a work plan for strategic cooperation between our countries,” Gil said in a message posted on his Telegram channel.

In the same way, the foreign minister expressed to him Venezuela's willingness to defend peace, respect and territorial integrity, always through Bolivarian peace diplomacy, at the same time that he expressed our position for the victims of an attack on January 3.

“We frame our dialogue on the importance of respecting international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and the sovereignty and independence of Venezuela,” the foreign minister stressed.
