Venezuela and Vietnam sign cooperation agreement on technological matters

The Minister of People's Power for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the National University of Sciences Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán and the Technological Institute of Posts and Telecommunications (PTIT) of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

According to information published by the minister on her Telegram account, this firm favors the exchange of undergraduate and graduate students, and teaching staff, in addition to reaffirming the commitment “to the educational development of our young people as a fundamental pillar for the construction of a sovereign and independent Homeland”.

“In addition, we agreed to the exchange of information and documents of mutual interest, and the development of academic training courses,” he added.

Finally, it was announced that the agreement will allow joint research in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and other areas of interest, together with the joint holding of seminars, meetings, conferences and other activities.”
