Venezuela beat Argentina and will seek to qualify for the 2025 Copa América against Chile

The Venezuelan men's basketball team defeated his Argentine counterpart 67 to 64 in group A of the FIBA windows, qualifying for the AmeriCup.
In Joaquín “papa” Carrillo, known as “Miranda Park”, with point guard Yhonder Sifonte and David Cubillán as the protagonists, the Venezuelan team made a difference, while the defensive Enrique Medina maintained dominance in defensive rebounds.
Thus, the qualification for the Americup, which will take place between August 23 and 31 in Nicaragua, is still led by Argentina in Group A with 3 wins and 2 losses, ahead of Venezuela (2-3), Colombia (2-2) and Chile (2-2).
Three teams from the zone will qualify for the continental competition and on the sixth and final round of the qualifiers Argentina will face Colombia in Cali and Venezuela against Chile in Caracas.
