The Venezuelan men's softball team won a decisive victory this Thursday in the XIII Montería 2026 Men's Softball Pan American Championship after defeating the Dominican Republic 3-1.

Venezuelan pitching was intractable at the hands of pitcher Luis Colombo, who launched the full seven-inning route allowing a single run, six hits, with five tickets and nine strikeouts.

For the offensive, Jean Flores stood out when he started 3-3 with a push and Rogelio Sequera with a solo home run in the sixth.

It should be noted that in this Super Round, the teams inherit the record against their Group rivals who advanced in level, that is, the Criollos record 6-0, are leaders and will return to action in the second half of Thursday against Mexico.
