The Venezuelan delegation led by the Ministry of the People's Power of Fisheries and Aquaculture highlighted its responsible, traceable and sustainable fishing model under the concept of “Venezuela Azul”.

Nearly 20 domestic companies with an export vocation participated in the business conference, including: Agrolago, Agua Marina, Atlantic Global, Congeladora Punta de Piedras, Coresca, Industrias Global Caribe 2050, Inversiones Buena Ventura, Aquaculture Island, Golden Ocean, Pacific Seafood, Pescalba, Proarca, Seafood Caribbean, Tide, Trapismar, Valexport Foods, Venemar Exportaciones and Xia Caribe Mar.

The Venezuelan pavilion was one of the busiest at the event, receiving more than 4,500 visitors, according to the press release of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs and International Trade.

During the days, numerous business meetings were arranged and letters of intent were signed for the export of products such as octopus, snappers, shrimp and lobsters to the demanding Spanish market. In addition, attendees were delighted with tastings of ceviche made with fresh Venezuelan fish.

During the event, the Venezuelan Consul General in Vigo, Martín Pacheco, highlighted the strategic importance of this sector for the country. “The exchange of Venezuelan marine products has a decisive impact on the relaunch of the national economy, boosting productive diversification and the expansion of our exportable supply,” he said.

The CONXEMAR Fair in its 2026 edition brought together 812 exhibitors from 46 countries and exceeded 30,000 visitors, consolidating itself as the ideal platform for the internationalization of the Venezuelan fishing industry.
