Venezuela breaks diplomatic relations with the Republic of Peru

This Tuesday, July 30, the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, reported that the Bolivarian Government decided to break diplomatic relations with the Republic of Peru.
Through his account on the social network X, Gil said that “the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has decided to break diplomatic relations with the Republic of Peru, on the basis of Article 45 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961.”
Regarding the decision, he explained that “we are forced to make this decision after the reckless statements of the Peruvian foreign minister that ignore the will of the Venezuelan people and our Constitution.”
