Venezuela closed January producing 841,000 barrels of oil per day

Venezuela produced 841,000 barrels of oil per day (BPD) during the month of January 2024, according to information published on the website of a well-known daily newspaper with national circulation.
According to information published on the web portal of a well-known national newspaper, the numbers were provided by the Ministry of Petroleum to the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
In this regard, it became known that crude oil production in the first month of 2024 increased by 40,000 BPD; which means that it is the third consecutive month that Venezuela has closed its production above 800,000.
In the last quarter of 2023, Venezuelan oil activity increased by 12.99%, with an increase of 14.60% in the extraction of crude oil and natural gas.
