Venezuela congratulated the people of India and their Government for the commemoration of their Republic Day.
Through a message posted on her Telegram channel, the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, extended respectful greetings to President Droupadi Murmu, head of state, and to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, head of government, on this significant date for the republican life of India.
“Venezuela reaffirms its willingness to strengthen bilateral relations and joint work between our countries within the framework of South-South cooperation and multilateralism,” Rodríguez said.
India celebrated its 77th Republic Day on Monday. The central event of the festivities will be held with a traditional parade that combines an exhibition of military power and Indian culture, on the boulevard of Kartavya Path (the Way of Duty, in Hindi) located in the center of New Delhi.
