The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, through an official statement published by the foreign minister, Yván Gil, congratulated the people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for the exemplary democratic day of November 27, 2025, while recognizing Godwin Friday and the New Democratic Party (NDP) for the electoral results.

The communication reiterated Venezuela's willingness to work with the new government within the framework of mutual respect and bilateral cooperation for the benefit of our peoples.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela congratulates the people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for the exemplary democratic day of November 27, 2025, which reaffirms their firm commitment to citizen participation and institutional stability. It also expresses its appreciation to Dr. Godwin Friday and the New Democratic Party (NDP) for the electoral results, reiterating our willingness to work with the new government within the framework of mutual respect and bilateral cooperation for the benefit of our peoples.

The Bolivarian Government recognizes and thanks the outstanding career of the outgoing Prime Minister, Ralph Gonsalves, a Caribbean leader whose commitment to regional integration and the defense of Caribbean interests has been exemplary. During his tenure, he played a key role in strengthening regional unity, in promoting political dialogue and in promoting initiatives that directly benefited our peoples. Venezuela deeply values its leadership and the cooperative relationship it always maintained with our country.

Venezuela reaffirms its willingness to continue expanding ties of friendship and cooperation with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, working together on regional integration mechanisms and in the defense of the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace, in favor of stability, sustainable development and the shared well-being of our peoples.
