Venezuela congratulated Uruguay on election day on November 24

Through a statement, the
Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela extended its congratulations to the Uruguayan people for the election
day held this Sunday, November 24, 2024, in the second
round of the presidential elections.
“The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Moros, on behalf of his People and Government, congratulates the Uruguayan people on the election day held this Sunday, November 24, 2024,” highlights part of the statement.
In addition, the letter published by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván
Gil, Venezuela reaffirmed its willingness to advance a bilateral agenda
of respect and dialogue. At the same time, the Bolivarian Government expressed
to the elected president, Yamandu Orsi, and to the vice-president-elect, Carolina
Cosse, its best wishes in this new phase for Uruguay.
