Venezuela congratulates the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on the 80th anniversary of its founding

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its congratulations to the heroic people, the Workers' Party, the government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and its president, Kim Jong Un, on the occasion of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of this Asian nation.

The official statement was published by the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, through his Telegram channel, highlighting the presence of a Venezuelan delegation at the commemorative events held in Pyongyang.

In the message, Venezuela reaffirmed its commitment to continue strengthening the bonds of fraternity, mutual respect and solidarity cooperation with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, in pursuit of the well-being of both peoples and the construction of a multicentric and multipolar world.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its sincerest congratulations to the heroic people and the Workers' Party of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, as well as to its Government and President Kim Jong Un, on the occasion of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of its founding, celebrated with great enthusiasm on October 10, 2025 and which was accompanied by a Venezuelan delegation.

On this historic date, Venezuela joins the joy of the Korean people, who celebrate eight decades of revolutionary strength, national dignity and unwavering defense of their sovereignty under the principles of independence and social justice that have inspired them and have allowed them to build their own political and social model.

Over the years, both nations have woven a relationship of solid friendship, mutual respect and supportive cooperation, based on shared ideals of independence, peace and justice.

In this context, Venezuela confirms its willingness to continue strengthening ties of brotherhood and collaboration with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, for the well-being of our peoples and the consolidation of a multicentric and multipolar world, reiterating the will to advance in new relations of friendship and broad and comprehensive cooperation.
