The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, held a meeting this Thursday with the ambassadors of India, Shri P K Ashok Babu; of Iran, Ali Chegini; of South Africa, Lindiwe Michelle Maseko; and of Serbia, Katarina Andrić, accredited in Venezuela, to advance the strengthening of bilateral relations.

Venezuela continues to consolidate its Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace and establish productive relations that benefit all peoples,” Foreign Minister Gil said on his Telegram channel, where he shared a video of the different meetings held at the Casa Amarilla Antonio José de Sucre, in Caracas.

On the other hand, the diplomat stressed that “these sister nations have expressed their solidarity in the face of the unjust military aggressions against Venezuela and the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro, and the First Lady, Cilia Flores”, and reaffirmed their commitment to the defense of international law and respect for the sovereignty of peoples.

“During this fraternal meeting, we have made progress in strengthening our bilateral relations, focusing especially on commercial, economic and diplomatic areas, with the objective of guaranteeing peace and continuing to build a future of cooperation and social development that benefits everyone,” he added.
