Venezuela defeats Mexico at the start of the Premier 12 tournament

The Venezuelan team beat Mexico 8-4 this Saturday at the start of the international Premier 12 baseball tournament.

Supported by the outstanding work of the pitcher Ricardo Pint and with 12 hits from a slug led by Jermaine Palacios who hit 5-2 with two home runs and Carlos Pérez, 4-3.

With this award against the hosts Venezuela, the Netherlands and Puerto Rico register a victory while Panama, the United States and Mexico, have a loss.

This Sunday, in the second round of the group, Venezuela will face Panama, the Netherlands will face the United States and Mexico will face Puerto Rico.
