Venezuela estimates that it will export 288,000 kilos of Tajalí Mirandino to China by the end of 2025

Venezuela expects to send a total of 288 thousand kilos exported to Shanghai, in the People's Republic of China, by the end of 2025, to continue positioning the country in world economic activity.
In a note published on the website of the Government of Miranda, he points out that this figure will be achieved with the loading of a second container with about 24 thousand kilos of tajalí, in addition to the 264 thousand kilos that have already been sent to the Asian country in the month of July, thanks to the public policies of the Bolivarian Government, within the framework of the First Great Transformation, regarding economic transformation.
From the Higuemar processing plant, located in the Higuerote parish, in the Brión municipality, the governor of the state of Miranda, Elio Serrano, said that this second container with fish product demonstrates the consolidation and strengthening of the national economy, as directed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
“Within the framework of the First Transformation that President Nicolás Maduro instructed us to strengthen the economy, we have made every effort and, working closely with the fishermen of the state of Miranda, we will continue to send quality protein with Venezuelan and Mirandino labels to foreign lands,” he said.
He also praised the work and work of the fishermen of the state of Miranda for their contribution to the national economy and invited them to trust in the protection of the Bolivarian Government promoted by the head of state.
He stressed that three million of those 17 million kilos that have been exported in the last five years are Mirandinos, which means that almost 21% of the product that travels from the Venezuelan borders is thanks to the efforts of men, women and children who are dedicated to fishing in the region.
He said that 4 million 500 thousand kilos of fish are produced annually on the coast of Miranda state, of which 50% are tajalí.
For his part, the Deputy Minister of Fishery and Aquaculture Processing and Distribution of the Ministry of the Popular Power of Fisheries and Aquaculture (MINPESCA), José Gregorio Briceño, explained that Tajalí is positioned as the fourth export fishing category, with more than 50 countries as its destination.
In the same way, he congratulated the Councils of Fishermen and Aquaculturists (CONPPA) that live in Miranda and promote the capture and processing of tajalí, especially the seven that are found in the point and circle of the Higuemar plant.
Briceño said that since the Bolivarian Government and on the instructions of the National President, support for aquaculture production has also been a management flag.
According to MINPESCA reports, more than 500 bodies of water are active in the state of Miranda in 16 municipalities of the entity, which, with the establishment of the CONPPA dedicated to the breeding and cultivation of fish such as coporo, cachama and red tilapia, the region is emerging as a producer with economic responsibility.
Johan Rodríguez, responsible for the Fisheries and Aquaculture portfolio in the entity, explained that in the first phase of the Coporo Plan, 40,000 coporo fry and 25,000 red tilapia were delivered.
