Venezuela expressed its condolences to Lebanon after the physical departure of Prime Minister Salim Al Huss

The Deputy Minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania, Tatiana Pugh, on behalf of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, signed the book of condolences this Tuesday, following the physical departure of the Former President of the Council of Ministers (Prime Minister) of Lebanon, His Excellency Mr. Salim Al Huss.
“We came on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro and Foreign Minister Yván Gil, to express our words of condolences to the people of Lebanon for such an unfortunate loss,” said the Deputy Minister.
For his part, the representative of the Lebanese nation, Elías Lebbos, thanked Venezuela for the solidarity expressed in the face of the significant loss, while reiterating Libya's respect for the decision issued by the Supreme Court of Justice to validate the results issued by the National Electoral Council regarding the victory of President Nicolás Maduro.
“We always support and are with the Venezuelan authorities, with internal decisions and we demand respect for the sovereignty of this country.
