Venezuela expressed its condolences to Vietnam for the death of former president Tran Duc Luong (+statement)

Through a statement, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expressed its words of condolences to the People and Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the death of former President Tran Duc Luong, one of the most important leaders of the courageous Vietnamese nation.

“President Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the people and government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, expresses his sincerest words of condolences to the brother people and government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the death of former President Tran Duc Luong, one of the most important leaders of the courageous Vietnamese nation, who contributed, always attached to socialist principles, to the development and well-being of his country”, highlighted the text published by the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, through his Telegram channel.

In addition, in the document Venezuela reaffirmed "once again the deep brotherhood with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, with the commitment to continue strengthening friendly relations between the Vietnamese and Venezuelan peoples”.

President Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the people and government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, expresses his sincerest words of condolences to the brother people and government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the death of former President Tran Duc Luong, one of the most important leaders of the courageous Vietnamese nation, who contributed, always attached to socialist principles, to the development and well-being of his country.

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela honors the great contribution of former President Tran Duc Luong to the strengthening of cooperation ties between Vietnam and Venezuela, highlighting the friendship and joint work with Commander Hugo Chávez Frías, to cement a strategic bond that is today a model of cooperation between developing nations and that has contributed to the well-being of both peoples.

Faced with this regrettable news, the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela once again reaffirms its deep brotherhood with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, with the commitment to continue strengthening friendly relations between the Vietnamese and Venezuelan peoples.
