Venezuela has more than 3 thousand video surveillance cameras throughout the country (+VEN 911)

The general director of the VEN 911 Command, Control and Telecommunications Centers, Neptalí Rodríguez, reported that Venezuela has a total of 3,920 video surveillance cameras, which work in conjunction with the Peace Quadrants to deal with incidents that may arise.

During his participation in the radio program “Observatory on Radio”, Rodríguez indicated that video surveillance cameras are monitored by 26 command and control centers that operate throughout the national territory in order to provide tranquility and peace to the Venezuelan population in each of the states.

He also explained that VEN 911 has 26 headquarters: 19 state offices and 06 municipal offices. In addition, he stressed that the project is for the entire national territory to have a state, municipal, parish and communal command and control center, “that is the vision that exists.”

“The National Directorate of Technology is responsible for cameras, bioprotection screens, Tetra radio command and control system, a telecommunication or telephone system with the indicated number 911,” Rodríguez reported, reported by Prensa MPPRIJP.

Rodríguez, assured that the VEN 911 immediate response system will keep the doors open to receive calls from the Venezuelan people and provide peace of mind, as established by President Nicolás Maduro, through public policies emanating from the Great Quadrants of Peace Mission.

He also announced that the Cayapa Plan is being carried out in the Libertador municipality to improve the bioprotection system in Caracas, which currently has a total of 774 security cameras installed in the area.
