Venezuela has more than 60,000 people dedicated to the country's scientific advancement

Venezuela has 60,000 people registered in the Venezuelan Registry of Science, Technology and Innovation (Recitven), which represents a historic mark.
This was stated by the Minister of Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, through a message published on her Telegram channel in which she explained that this achievement “reflects the commitment and passion of those who promote scientific and technological progress in our country”.
She also highlighted gender inclusion and equity in the scientific field, noting that more than 53% of the total figure corresponds to the talent of Venezuelan women.
The minister recalled that the country's scientists are trained in public universities.
The Bolivarian Government, led by President Nicolás Maduro, “continues to promote research and innovation in Venezuela as fundamental tools for growth, for the benefit of the people,” said the also sectoral vice-president of Science, Technology, Ecosocialism and Health.
Finally, he invited scientists, technologists and innovators to join the National System of Science, Technology and Innovation.
